SecondWind Resources was founded in 2006
by Larry Toller and Wes Toller.
The brothers saw a need to establish a ministry to motivate and encourage service by and for adults over fifty.
 
 
 Larry Toller (Legacy Awareness)
Author and speaker Larry Toller  is the President and co-founder of
SecondWind Resources. He is also Minister of Education and Administration at Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, IL. He previously served as Associate Executive Director of the Illinois Baptist State Association in Springfield, Illinois. Prior to coming to Illinois in 2000 a policy advisor on staff with Arkansas Governor Mike
Huckabee. Larry has also served in business administration positions at the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, Monticello, Arkansas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Additionally, he has served in multiple staff positions in churches in Texas, Oklahoma and Kentucky and is currently serving on the Board of Trustees for Mid-Continent University in Mayfield,Kentucky. He and wife Kenett have a daughter: Rebekah; a son and daughter-in-law: Michael and his wife Paula-Beth and a grandaughter: Lucy Shea.

Lucy was born November 1, 2007.

Wes Toller (Worship)
Singer and songwriter Wes Toller is the Vice-President and
co-founder of SecondWind Resources. Although 15 years younger
than his brother, he shares the same passion for this ministry.
 
He is also Worship Arts Pastor at CrosswindFellowship in Odessa, Texas.  Wes has served in churches as Worship Pastor in Texas and Kansas for over seventeen years. Prior to entering full time service he served as bi-vocational Worship Pastor and
music educator in public schools. He and wife Sandra have three children: Cortne, Chris and Chelsea.

Beth Anne Rankin (Worship)

Miss Arkansas 1994 and a Miss America Talent Winner,

Beth Anne Rankin, is a high-energy, award-winning

motivational speaker, pianist & vocalist for state, regional

and national events, training seminars, women's ministry,

churches, corporate conferences & conventions.

 

 

 

  

 

 


Karen Jordan (Writers Workshop)

Karen Jordan is a professional writer and
writing instructor with tremendous spiritual
insight and talent. She not only brings
inspiration to the writing experience but also
practical instruction.
Karen resides in Arkansas
with
 her husband, Dan.  They have two married
children, four grandsons and two granddaughters. 

 

 

 

 

 


Paula Rutherford (Women's Ministry)

Paula Rutherford is a gifted writer and conference leader from

Decatur, Texas where she serves as the women's minister of

Community Church. She has led numerous Bible studies and

conferences throughout California, Illinois, and Texas and is a

contributing columnist for Heartbeat magazine. Her desire to

make God's Word come alive is evident in the numerous dramas

she has written, performed in, and directed. It is her desire that

women understand and experience the victory found through a

living and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ!

 


No Other Name (Worship)

The group has recently completed their latest album,

which blends their gospel roots with a more progressive sound. The album also features several songs written by the group. They expect great things from this new recording. No Other Name is now in demand at churches and concerts all around Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and the Carolinas. They have come to be known for their tight harmony, powerful sound and thoughtful lyrics. And while it is true that No Other Name strives to keep the gospel music tradition alive, much of what they do is unlike any group before them.

Most important, their heart for the gospel is evident on and off stage. It is their hope

that something they say, do or sing will draw people to Christ and change hearts and

lives forever. 


David Edwards (Legal/Estate Planning)

 

David is an Illinois Attourney and partner in his Law firm.

He assists conference participants with estate planning

and planned giving. 

 

   

 

 

 


Mike Steed (Comedy/ Fifty Plus Ministry Consultation)

 

Mike has served in church staff positions for the past

twenty-eight years including six years as Salem South

Director of Missions. He also has a talent for making

people laugh.

  

   

 

 


Max Samples (Evangelism)

Max has served as a pastor in churches for over thirty-five years

and as Director of Evangelism for Illinois Baptist State Association

for five years. He continues active ministry as an evangelist.

 

 

 

 

  

 

 


Tom Rains (Evangelism)


Tom has lead nearly 400 revivals, conferences and crusades.

He was one of fifty evangelists to participate in the Rio '89 Crusades,

the largest crusade in the twentieth century.
