Mission
SecondWind Resources provides evangelistic, discipleship, recreational and
educational opportunities for adults over fifty years of age.
Vision
SecondWind Resources will be a catalyst for a movement to renew the purpose,
mission and ministry of adults over fifty & restore intergenerational relationships
within the church & community.
Purpose
SecondWind Resources will remind the aging population of their responsibility to
pass on God's Power to the next generation, by providing POWER opportunities.
1. Awareness -
We will increase awareness of the ministry through:
Events,
Advertising and
Networking.
2. Build -
We will build a foundation by:
Enlisting dedicated, professional leadership;
Engaging partnerships with other ministries and services;
Encouraging financial support;
Establishing an effective organization.
3. Create -
We will create:
- A network of associates and volunteers;
- A "Think Tank" for research, resources and publications;
- "Power Opportunities" for Church Senior groups.
- Resources to help churches rediscover the joy and power of an intergenerational church.
And this is just the beginning!
